Lew lubing the Brill Car
It's been crazy busy here at the Engine House, with repairs to both Smokey and the Brill car, handling public rides and getting ready for summer season, not to mention continuing work on removing rust on #9.
I'm still working on the video for the work party. There are 3 of us that filmed it, and with each of us involved in various things it has been hard to collect and edit the videos.
The Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge Historical Society is having their conference here in the Owens Valley.
May 15,16,17. I've signed up for it. John Shonafelt, our project manager for the restoration of #9, will be a presenter the first evening of the conference. He also enlisted my help for the presentation. Should be a fun and interesting weekend.
